Made to the size you enter
Each sandwich kit is cut to the size you choose and supplied with at least 4 wall-mounting bolts. Larger sizes may include additional bolts.
The entered size is the outside dimension of both acrylic sheets once cut.
Each sheet of acrylic is 4.5mm thick. The two sheets pinch the artwork where the bolts are placed, so large sizes can have small gaps between the sheets.
For larger images, mount the image with a small amount of double-sided tape on the rear top sections before installing.
Installation
Mounting the sandwich kit
The kit mounts straight to the wall with the supplied bolts. The acrylic sheets sit in front of the wall and clamp your artwork in place once the caps are tightened.
- Mark the bolt positionsUse the finished acrylic size as your guide and mark the bolt centres 2.5cm in from each edge.
- Drill and fit the wall fixingsDrill the marked points and install suitable fixings for your wall type before adding the bolt barrels.
- Load the artworkPlace your print or certificate between the acrylic sheets, keeping it centred before lifting it onto the bolts. A small piece of double-sided tape behind the image can help hold it in position while you manoeuvre the product on the wall.
- Tighten the caps by handAlign the holes over the barrels, then hand-tighten the caps until the sheets are held securely.
